may confidently be anticipated, to a conclusion of
the whole difficult question. I would add that
this loan is included in the Colony's assets under
"Building Loans" and the remission proposed while
reducing the balance of Assets over Liabilities will
not affect the Colony's liquid balances inasmuch as
no cash payment is involved.

The result of this arrangement will be not
only that a matter which contains the germs of long
drawn and expensive litigation will be entirely
disposed of, but also that this Government will be in
a position to proceed at once to the consideration of
very important proposals for developments to the
East of Mr. Kwik's property, consideration which has
necessarily been delayed pending settlement of all
outstanding questions with Mr. Kwik.
10. I concur in the foregoing proposals, and
shall be glad to receive Your Lordship's approval
them by telegraph.
